Nathan believes in client-centered service while understanding and meeting the unique needs of each individual client. His experience and practice areas involve the transactional practice of law, including real estate law, business and general corporate law, probate law, estate planning, community association law, non-profit law, and governmental affairs. Nathan is admitted to practice law in Florida and Alabama.
Nathan started his legal career at a small firm in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. While in private practice in Tuscaloosa, Nathan was an Adjunct Instructor for legal seminars in the Honors College at The University of Alabama. Since then, Nathan has worked for two large regional firms and a small boutique firm. Nathan earned his law degree from The University of Alabama School of Law, and his Bachelor of Science in business and real estate from The University of Alabama, summa cum laude.
After relocating to Northwest Florida, Nathan immediately set out to establish a legacy of active community involvement. Currently, Nathan serves as General Counsel/Secretary on the Board of Directors of Point Washington Medical Clinic, a non-profit primary care provider affiliated with the Point Washington United Methodist Church. He is the President-Elect of the National Council for Mortar Board, a national college senior honor society founded in 1918 and focused on the pillars of scholarship, leadership, and service. Nathan is the immediate past Chairman of the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and is involved in local economic development efforts. Additionally, Nathan serves on the Board of Directors for United Way of the Emerald Coast, and was selected into the inaugural class of United Way’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2021.
From 2019-2022, Nathan served as General Counsel/Secretary on the Board of Directors of Westonwood Ranch, a local non-profit that provides life and vocational skills to young adults with developmental differences. In 2020, Nathan served as President of the Young Professionals of Walton County, and in 2019, he was chosen by his peers as Young Professional of the Year at the Walton Chamber’s annual awards gala. Nathan was elected President of his Leadership Walton class in 2018, and he served as President of the Emerald Coast Real Estate Council from 2017 to 2019. Nathan enjoys being active in both the Florida and Alabama state bar associations, and presenting legal seminars to the local community.
Outside of his professional obligations, you can find Nathan cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide and the New Orleans Saints in the fall, traveling, enjoying his record collection, cooking, and enjoying all of the wonderful things about living along the beautiful Emerald Coast.
