Jonathan Huffman, who heads Boatman Ricci’s Fort Myers office, is an experienced complex commercial litigation attorney who has successfully represented clients in a wide array of business, employment, real estate, and investment disputes, among others, in Florida’s state and federal courts and in administrative proceedings.
After earning bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees, all with honors, Mr. Huffman began his legal career in 2005 at a renowned insurance defense firm in his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. There, he gained substantial litigation and trial experience for a young attorney.
He then relocated to Florida in 2008 and spent the next nine years at two prominent Jacksonville firms, primarily handling commercial litigation matters, including as a partner and practice group leader of his firm’s business law group.
In 2017, Mr. Huffman joined a national firm to serve as its lead attorney for business litigation in southwest Florida, where he and his family now call home. Five years later, after litigating matters with and against the prestigious Boatman Ricci firm, Mr. Huffman was honored to join them.
When he is not practicing law, Mr. Huffman enjoys tennis, weightlifting, target shooting, and shuttling his five sons around the state to their various sporting events.
